Dr. Jerry Johnston serves as Executive Director of Lee Strobel Ministries (LSM), a 501-C3 non-profit ministry based in Houston, TX, and provides leadership for LSM. Johnston quarterbacks both the national/international vision of Lee Strobel Ministries and the Lee Strobel Center as they work in synergy to accomplish their goals.
Jerry is passionate about training Christian leaders and helping them enhance their communication of the Gospel. He is also known as an effective communicator himself and demonstrates skill and knowledge on a variety of topics. Jerry has the spiritual gifts of faith, leadership, evangelism, teaching, and discernment. An extension of his multidecade career is evidenced in his ability to assist leaders in national ministries to scale and develop a strategic plan to go to the next level. Jerry has widespread media experience, having appeared on scores of TV shows, and produced documentaries for multiple media entities.
